“STOP, THINK, AND DON’T DO SOMETHING STUPID!” is the quote Daniel Forrester uses to open the Introduction of his book, Consider.

The quote is from Dr. Robert Bea and what he says to the Civil and Environmental Engineering students at the University of California in Berkeley. He wants them engage in the kind of thinking that helps prevent engineering disasters before they occur.

The full title of Daniel’s book is Consider: Harnessing the Power of Reflective Thinking In Your Organization. He was my recent guest in the #LeadWithGiants TweetChat (every Monday at 7:00pm ET).
